The Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) is a Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) initiative that aims to enhance the employability of youth aged 15-28 in Bihar. It focuses on soft skills, life skills, and communication skills, and is open to individuals who have passed at least the 10th grade and are not currently pursuing higher education. Key aspects of KYP for student information: Age: Candidates must be between 15 and 28 years old (with exceptions for SC/ST, OBC, and PwD). Educational Qualification: A minimum of 10th class pass is required. Program Focus: KYP focuses on soft skills, life skills, English and Hindi communication, and basic computer literacy. Self-Help Allowance: Successful completion of KYP training is mandatory for those aged 20-25 who wish to avail of self-help allowance. Training Modules: KYP covers modules like self-awareness, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and time management. Learning Facilitator (LF) Qualifications: LF's are expected to be proficient in English at B1 and B2 CEFR levels.
